March is Moms’ Month! Special Gift Making Series @ Match

Cute Creations: Wool Felting @ Match

Learn how to sculpt wool while you hang out with friends. Eat, drink, and make fabulous art in the wonderfully creative Match atmosphere. You’ll sculpt soft creatures, fruits, vegetables, or anything else you can imagine. Pieces can be used as toys, pendants/charms, ornaments, or brooches.

Tie it on: Silk Scarf Painting @ Match and NWAC

Meet at Match for a glass of wine and then head to NWAC (so we can get messy!) to create your very own hand-painted silk scarf to give as a special gift – or to treat yourself! Methods such as wet-on-wet, line building, and salt effects are simple to learn and easy to execute. Come play with inspiring color combinations.

Broken Beauty: Mosaic Necklace Charm @ Match

Drawn to Creativity

Recapture your creative spirit and refresh your skills through drawing fundamentals. Learn the principles of observations, perspective, values and more by exploring the world with an artist’s eye. Discover how drawing in pencil, conte crayon, charcoal and paint can be relevant to so many aspects of your life. Beginners and all levels are welcome.

Sculpt Your Garden

As you anticipate spring, spend an afternoon in the pottery studio sculpting some stepping stones leading to your garden. Or build a birdhouse, craft a series of personalized plant markers, or even sculpt a garden gnome! Enjoy the demos and select your project. All levels welcome.

The Language of Light for Digital Photographers

The basis of vision, light is essential to the creation of fine photographs. Join Kaela Domenico of Serendipity Photography as she explains the basic functions of your camera. You’ll learn how to take better photos and what kind of equipment is best for you. No prior experience is needed. Bring your camera and no matter your level, you will learn something new!

Color Celebration Fused Glass Workshop

Create a beautiful fused glass wall hanging to add beauty and dimension to your home! Learn the basics of fusing including information on glass compatibility, fusing cycles, kiln operation and practical application of your creations. Fired projects will be available one week after class.

Drawing on Nature Workshop

Find inspiration from the natural world around you. Emphasis will be placed on observational skills and developing a thorough understanding of how three-dimensional objects are translated onto a two-dimensional surface. This class is perfect for beginners or for intermediate students who wish to deepen their drawing skills.
